Brown & Brown is seeking a Qlik Developer to join our growing team in Location.
The Qlik Developers work will involve enhancing and extending features and functions of existing Applications that are used internally. This position will interface business professionals and must be comfortable with and capable of excellent email, instant messages, phone, and face-to-face communication with non-technical personnel.
- Develop and maintain Qlik applications, including data modeling, web/database integrations, and NPrinting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Establish frameworks and patterns for delivering business intelligence and reporting.
- Optimize existing Qlik solutions for improved performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data visualization and reporting.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, documentation, and system deployment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide timely and clear communication to business owners and users regarding issue status and resolution.
- Interface confidently with non-technical personnel via email, chat, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Mentor team members on best practices and Qlik tool usage.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in QlikSense development, including data modeling and NPrinting.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, query optimization).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
- Familiarity with JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS).
- Exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Pay Range
$125k - $140k Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
