What will you do
Embark on an outstanding journey with Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., where you will:
- Interpret and put into action quality assurance standards and procedures.
- Assess the sufficiency of quality assurance criteria.
- Record and report quality data.
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
- Detail internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Draft, champion, and coordinate corrective and preventive measures.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Coordinate and support on-site internal and external audits.
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor risk management activities.
- Manage document systems.
- Be involved in validation activities.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality requirements.
- Plan, conduct, and monitor microbial testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Assist the production team in examining underlying reasons and proposing solutions for corrective and preventive actions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Science or equivalent experience.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualification in a Science-related field. Microbiology laboratory experience will be an added advantage.
- High level proficiency in Quality Management Systems, ideally within a regulated environment such as the pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing industry.
- Excellent research and analytical thinking. Experience in problem-solving tools such as A3, fishbone, etc.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- High level of attention to detail, meticulous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office suite. SAP and MasterControl use would be highly desirable.
