Position Summary

The Provider Digital Analytics and Intake Team is hiring a Business Analytics Specialist to support the reporting and data analytic needs for value capture and metric driven management of Aetna’s provider digital tools. This successful candidate will partner and support activities of the Provider Digital business team and advise on insights to drive value in digital tool offerings.

Performs data analysis and issue research as well as participates in business and technical projects to assess the impact of that work on the reporting and data.

Consults with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data solutions to business problems at an intermediate level. Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals to help solve by developing predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data rereports, and performance metrics.

Participates in the implementation of information strategy and development of information products to ensure operational objectives and other strategic business initiatives are met.

Ability to structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to help determine the best analytical solution.

Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an intermediate understanding of business strategy as well as relevant data environment topics.



Required Qualifications

3 – 4+ years related work experience in the following:

  • Business experience leading analyses, ad-hoc data analysis, recognizing trends and initiatives with track record of business impact
  • Proven experience with the following tools: Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Alteryx/Dataiku, QuickBase, and PowerBI
  • Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources
  • Proven experience eliciting, documenting, and validating reporting requirements through interviews, workshop, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders at varying levels



Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare business application systems is desired
  • Experience with IBM Cognos
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Development of predictive modeling
  • Comfort working with Google Cloud environment



Education

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

This is a hybrid role is located near a hub and does not support sponsorship at this time.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
