  • Determined to lead and scale the provider data operations function - managing a growing team of leads and operational staff responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, completeness, and compliance of Zocdoc’s provider data.
  • Curious to design and drive operational strategy, process improvements, and automation, partnering closely with global teams to deliver excellence at scale.

Your day-to-day is…

  • To lead and scale a team of 15–30+ provider data staff and leads with responsibility for hiring, training, performance management, and career development.
  • To define and monitor key operational KPIs (accuracy, SLA adherence, team utilization, error rates) and deliver regular dashboards to leadership.
  • To drive resource planning and forecasting, including vendor partnerships, budget management, and capacity planning.
  • To collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Onboarding, Product, Engineering, and Business Operations to build scalable workflows and leverage automation for efficiency.
  • To lead root-cause analysis for process or data inconsistencies, drive corrective actions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To serve as the escalation point for operational issues and workflow bottlenecks, ensuring clear communication with US and India stakeholders.
  • To stay up to date on healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to provider data and information security.
  • To build playbooks, documentation, and operational frameworks to standardize processes and enable rapid scaling.
  • To contribute to strategic planning for Zocdoc’s expansion into new markets, specialties, and insurance plans.

 

You’ll be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputed institution with a strong academic record (minimum 60% or equivalent).
  • 5–7+ years of experience in data/business operations, analytics, or research, with at least 2–3 years managing people (10+ direct or indirect reports).
  • Proven experience scaling teams and operations, including hiring, process setup, and leading leads.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets including Google AppScripts.
  • Experience with AI-powered tools for research and data validation; ability to refine and quality-check AI outputs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong customer-service orientation.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL, BI tools (Tableau / Power BI), or automation platforms is a plus.
  • A background in US healthcare or Healthcare Tech companies is a plus.
  • Experience working across global or cross-timezone teams (India/US) is a plus.
