The Proposition Engagement Manager will support the development and delivery of the engagement strategy and plan across all customer segments to promote product awareness and adoption. They will manage the Blueprint, our product enablement programme, having a direct impact on our customer acquisition and retention.
Leading key stakeholder relationships with commercial, customer and product the role holder will manage go-to-market strategies to launch new products and propositions into market. The role holder will manage product engagement for strategic client accounts to drive retention and cross-sell.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Lead the proposition engagement strategy across clients, brokers, consumers and colleagues, aligning with commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Drive product engagement for strategic accounts through account reviews, immersion days and priorities that support growth, cross-sell and retention.
- Lead our Blueprint and Accelerate programmes to deliver training, standards and market-leading immersion experiences for commercial teams, clients and brokers.
- Deliver go-to-market strategies for new products and propositions, using customer insight to shape messaging and PR.
- Work with the Senior Product Content Manager on engagement initiatives and campaigns for new and existing customers.
- Manage pricing communications for clients and brokers, and develop broker engagement strategies to deepen product understanding.
- Coordinate external agencies, manage budgets and track performance to optimise engagement activity and drive efficiencies.
- Champion integrity, innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring fair customer outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Commercial and Customer teams, supporting delivery of the UK Insurance strategy and annual plan.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of engagement excellence and collaboration.
- Manage risk and compliance, embedding Consumer Duty principles and maintaining governance standards.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- 5 years plus product marketing expertise is essential, ideally gained in Financial Services, or Professional Services
- Experience of working effectively in complex, matrix organisations with ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- Ability to understand complex product information and transform into best-in-class customer facing content
- Experience of building product enablement programmes for internal audiences that resonate and drive commercial results
- Proven track record of managing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels including C-suite
- Presenting and building strong relationships with strategic clients and intermediaries
- Proven track record to positively challenge the status quo to embed new engagement ideas and concepts.
- Demonstrable commercial and creative thinker with the ability to show tangible ROI in engagement activity
- Practical experience of the ability to quickly implement new initiatives
