Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Planning
Ensure the achievement of overall objectives of the project and its alignment with the Government of Indonesia’s strategy.
Coordinate revision of plans and budgets if needed, in response to monitoring, reflection and learning with the community and the program team.
Initiate consultative planning, reflection, and feedback mechanism with the project stakeholders.
Ensure that the program and the projects effectively integrate all aspects of sustainable development process
Resource Acquisition & Management
Monitor project expenditures to ensure that they are within the project budget and in accordance with Wahana Visi Indonesia financial policies and donor’s (multi donor/sponsors) requirements
Ensure the effective management and engagement of key stakeholders and partners to maximize program impact and success.
Capacity Building
Internalize and socialize WV core documents, including child protection
Ensure capacity building of all program staff, enhancing their commitment, character, competence, and critical thinking. Work with staff to ensure they are implementing an appropriate capacity development plan which will enable the project to meet its goals
Promote ongoing reflection and learning among staff.
Develop dynamic organizational culture for the project that conveys the principles of a “Learning Organization” and applies principles of our Core Documents, policies, manuals, and procedures.
Accountability & Quality Assurance:
Manage and report on the budget and activities according to accountability standards of the national office and donor guidelines, while ensuring the highest levels of financial stewardship and integrity.
Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation enable the program and the projects to make a defined and measurable in working together with partners.
Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation processes and products are in alignment with donor standards and submitted project milestones.
Ensure monitoring system and tools are developed and used by staff to track the progress of project implementation, and to capture learning.
Share lessons learned with communities, development partners and other stakeholders
Ensure that the processes of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation are performed on time and with high quality.
To prepare project documentation and reporting ensure all required report are submitted on time, accurate, and complete. This is including provision of information for monthly report, quarterly report, monitoring checklist, along with updated indicator tracking table and project documentation, and host visits of sponsors, donors, and WV staff from other offices and coordinate with Communications Unit all media and film crew visits to the project area.
Networking & Coordination:
Represent the PNS Project to internal and external stakeholders meeting
Develop and implement a plan together with field staff to form, facilitate and manage effective relationships and networks with various development partners. This would include: government departments, community-based organizations, other NGOs, local businesses, faith-based organizations, and the community leaders of the area.
Be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with key partners and ensure that partnerships with other development partners are focused on promoting the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable.
Develop robust networks and excellent relationships, especially with (but not limited to) Government (including PPAPP, Department of Forestry, Local government from urban village to provincial level), heads of international and local NGOs, and UN institutions, religious institution, communities and children to contribute to and influence priorities and plans related to the well-being of children; and to secure necessary technical, human and finance resources.
Lead the negotiation, communication, and working closely with partners, including government, supply chain partners, private sectors, and other key stakeholders, especially at city, provincial, and national level.
Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning among coordinators, officers, facilitators, and administrative staff to ensure program implementation as standard.
Management & Leadership:
Provide line management for the program including performance management, coaching and capacity building.
Create an enabling and positive team environment where staff are able to develop their talents and grow in their development sector skills, knowledge and professionalism
Facilitate and lead spiritual nurture activities for team members according to WV core documents.
Facilitate effective teamwork, coordination and work planning among coordinators, officers, facilitators, and administrative staff to ensure program implementation as standard
Requirement
Minimum of 4 years Coordinator experience in Programme/project with a thorough understanding of all areas of project management cycles.
Demonstrated track record in proposal development, funding acquisitions and grant management for major government donors preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Business Administration, Rural development, social studies or any related field
Complete Project Management for NGO course.
Strong budgetary , DME , and financial management skills.
Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain performance expectations and hold other accountable
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes or similar database, email and internet programs.
Ability communications in English both verbal and written is a must.
