The Role & What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the S/4HANA ERP Implementation within our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance organization. This role will focus on coordinating and driving activities across three key workstreams:

  • Testing
  • Data Validation
  • Training

The Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of these workstreams, collaborating with global stakeholders, including Finance SMEs, country leads, and training teams.

Responsible for leading, managing and coordinating project management & PMO activities across the regions. Produce project management deliverables, which could include but are not limited to: charters, team structures, work plans, meeting notes, meeting agendas, presentations, success measures, transition plans, and program closure documentation. Manage and evaluate all aspects of assigned projects – planning, executing, and monitoring/controlling team performance and project scope, integrate project plans and monitor key milestones, and provide regular status reports, executive summaries and presentations to respective stakeholders as needed Manage and escalate project/program issues, risks and decisions and ensure timely follow up and adequate resolution Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Workstream:
    • Lead and coordinate end-to-end Business Readiness and User Acceptance testing cycles.
    • Manage defect tracking and resolution with SMEs and testers.
    • Ensure timely execution and quality assurance.
  • Data Validation Workstream:
    • Oversee data load and validation activities.
    • Coordinate with GBS SMEs and local Finance leads.
    • Track progress and escalate risks or issues.
  • Training Workstream:
    • Manage training program execution (e.g., Train-the-Trainer models).
    • Monitor user adoption and readiness.
    • Collaborate with change management and training teams.

Work with Sr. Director – GBS to manage global budgets and benefits/synergy tracking for GBS initiatives Responsible to integrate/align project plans across GBS and monitor key milestones Perform data analysis, develop business cases, facilitate meetings, and provide recommendations on projects, initiatives and other operational issues. Support FTE assessment for the work being transitioned Communicate effectively with the stakeholders responsible for completing various phases of the project Coordinate with other Enterprise initiatives (IT, HR, Sourcing, Supply Chain) Develop, adapt, and implement standard tools and methodologies for integration project management across regions and functions.  Perform other duties as assigned

Your Profile – The Ideal Candidate

You are a seasoned Project Manager with hands-on experience in S/4HANA ERP implementations, particularly in global finance environments. You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and are confident leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

You bring a structured approach to project delivery and are comfortable managing large-scale testing and data validation efforts involving hundreds of stakeholders. You also understand the importance of user enablement and have successfully led training programs in transformation projects.

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Project Management, Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in S/4HANA ERP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of GBS Finance processes and global coordination.
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • Leading complex testing cycles with large stakeholder groups.
    • Coordinating data validation and migration efforts.
    • Change Management, Managing training programs and user enablement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, or other defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and user adoption strategies.
  • PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong presenting skills, confident user of Power Point
  • Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; work with a high degree of independent judgment and initiative, with little supervision; and ability to adjust to changing or competing priorities while still meeting deadlines. 
  • Must be team-oriented, highly motivated, possess a positive approach and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse constituencies.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working/background in a shared service or GBS environment.
