Here is a description of the role we are opening:
Key Responsibilities
Manage IoT projects and customer opportunities from initiation to industrialization (end-to-end ownership)
Translate customer and partner requirements into actionable project plans
Lead cross-functional project teams (typically 2–8 members) using Agile methodologies
Manage suppliers, EMS partners, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment on logistics, quality, and timing
Oversee both technical and commercial aspects of projects, including customer proposals, quotations, and approvals
Ensure the seamless integration of hardware, embedded software, and platform components
Define and execute make-or-buy strategies to optimize project delivery
Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams across all sites
Monitor project KPIs, budgets, risks, and resource allocations
Drive project profitability and support identification of new business opportunities
Ensure timely delivery and stakeholder alignment across all involved parties
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in Project Management, Business Delivery, or Product Development within IoT, embedded systems, or related industries
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing customers and business partners
Practical experience working with suppliers, EMS, and supply chain partners
Solid understanding of hardware development, embedded software, and IoT platform architectures
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Structured, proactive, and collaborative working style
Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German or French) are a plus
