We’re hiring a Project Manager I for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. 

The Project Manager I on the Strategic Analytics team oversees large-scale projects, coordinating across Sales, Operations, and Analytics to ensure smooth execution from bid tracking through completion. This role demands strong ownership and accountability, proactively identifying patterns, risks, and opportunities to improve processes, performance, and customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage setup, execution, and ongoing tracking of large account and mega project initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and financial goals are met.
  • Maintain ownership of individual project performance while also monitoring trends across all active projects to identify recurring challenges, systemic issues, and opportunities for process improvement; proactively drive cross-functional solutions to enhance overall execution and customer outcomes.
  • Partner with analysts to interpret project financials, tying performance to profitability and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain an accurate and current pipeline of project bids, partnering with sales team members to stay up to date on opportunities, bid status, and customer needs.
  • Utilize project management software to track project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring full visibility for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project status reports, dashboards, and documentation to keep leadership and teams informed of progress, risks, and next steps.
  •  Coordinate and lead cross-functional project meetings, preparing agendas, capturing action items, and driving accountability to completion.
  •  Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or communication gaps that could impact project success, and work with stakeholders to craft and execute solutions.
  •  Serve as a liaison between sales teams, operations, and leadership to ensure consistent project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a project manager for the Strategic Analytics team, coordinating initiatives across business segments to ensure alignment, timely execution, and effective communication between analytics, operations, and leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, refining tools, processes, and workflows that enhance transparency, efficiency, and customer engagement.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
  • Takes full ownership of projects and outcomes, holding self and others accountable for delivering results with excellence and integrity.
  • Strong ability to adapt and be flexible within the scope of a given project as vision, priorities, and timelines shift 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing and motivating teams with no direct authority over them

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 2 years Project Management or similar experience 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
