Job Scope: Generally responsible for performing all aspects of project management for moderately complex engineering project assignments ensuring total delivery of the services on time, within performance budget and quality expectations. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensure all reporting requirements and financial obligations are met with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to maintain client site’s legal right to mine the property.
Ensure all mining training is completed annually per Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requirements.
Provide oversight over the mining contractor to ensure the interests of client site are met.
Collaborate with Client Global Planning as well as the Mobile, Alabama and Reggio, Italy manufacturing sites to ensure quality ore is supplied on time to meet customer demand.
Coordinate shipments with the railroad and the milling toller, Riverland Industries, to meet client requirements
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
Certification: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 20+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
