We are looking for a Project Manager located in Sugar Land, Texas in our Chemical Technologies - Supply Chain group.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations in maintenance, from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role will be based out of our Chemical Sugar Land Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Manage day-to-day construction operations, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Team Coordination: Supervise subcontractors, construction crews, and site personnel; ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.

Scheduling: Develop and maintain construction and maintenance schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed to meet project milestones.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction process.

Budget Management: Track costs, manage procurement of materials and equipment, and report financial performance against budget.

Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise on-site, including delays, design changes, and resource constraints.

Reporting: Provide regular updates to Project Engineers, and other stakeholders on project status, risks, and performance.

Objectives and Deliverables:

  • Project Delivery- Ensure all assigned construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Safety and Compliance - Maintain a 100% compliance rate with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and company safety policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all personnel receive appropriate training and PPE and Permits are complete and fully communicated
  • Quality Assurance - Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure construction meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination - Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Cost Control - Monitor and control project expenditures to stay within approved budgets.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
  • Schedule Management - Ensure milestone adherence
  • Stakeholder Communication - Provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders. Resolve field-level issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and project momentum.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field experience
  • 5+ Years of experience in managing maintenance or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
