TRUMPF is actively shaping the digital transformation for our customers and our company. The smart services project team in Farmington is dedicated to developing and implement new after-sales services and solutions to support our customers and the service organization.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize, plan and carry out IT projects in the customer service department: data analytics and predictive service.
- Structure, analyze and interpret a high amount of field machines and service data
- Develop scripts for reports and data visualization
- Design solutions and new products to support the technical service department and its customers
- Design and optimize processes to implement the new solutions in the service organization
- Organize and lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Report any performance indicators to the project shift supervisor and VP service
- Communicate efficiently with customers, other departments and TRUMPF subsidiaries
- Assist and coordinate special events and meetings when necessary
- Work closely with service managers, sales and engineering to accomplish and meet expectations
Experience & Education
- Experience in big data/data analytics required. Must be able to program in R or/and Python.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and business intelligence capabilities. Must be extremely organized and able to work autonomously. Excellent communication, synthesis and presentation skills required.
- Experience in project management and preferably agile methods. Experience with IT projects and affinity for IoT topics is essential.
- Familiarity with service processes and CNC machine industry is helpful. Knowledge of German language is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
