As a Project Manager for Maxis Enterprise, you will lead and manage end-to-end projects across technology, infrastructure, service rollout, and enterprise solutions for enterprise clients. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
You will act as the key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, managing project risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes that align with business and contractual commitments.
What are you accountable for?
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and project plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, budgets, and progress tracking.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as required.
Manage change control processes related to project scope, schedule, cost, and quality, including impact assessments for change requests.
Lead cross-functional project teams including sales, operations, network, IT, finance, and legal, as well as coordinate with external vendors or partners.
Conduct regular project meetings, checkpoints, and steering committee updates, ensuring timely communication and alignment.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Oversee deliverable validation, quality assurance, and acceptance testing to meet business and technical requirements.
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting to ensure financial compliance.
Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory, and corporate standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate transparent and effective communication among all stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including initiation, execution, and closure reports.
Drive continuous improvement of project methodologies, templates, and best practices within the enterprise project management function.
Support bid and proposal activities by contributing to solution feasibility, resource estimation, and delivery timelines when required.
What do you require for the role?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5–8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications, ICT, or enterprise services industry.
Demonstrated experience managing medium to large-scale, complex projects, ideally within enterprise or B2B domains.
Strong understanding of ICT systems, network services, software development, or enterprise solution deployment.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or Smartsheet.
Good financial and commercial awareness with experience in cost management and forecasting.
Familiarity with risk management, change management, and quality assurance practices.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to client or project sites as needed.
