Project Data Analyst

The role:

Key Responsibilities

1. Resource Management & Capacity Planning

  • Collect and maintain data on resource demand, allocation, and capacity across projects and portfolios.
  • Support integration of data from ServiceNow, Workday, and other relevant systems to provide a holistic view of resource utilisation.
  • Assist in identifying supply gaps, unallocated resources, and third-party resource challenges.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to inform strategic sequencing and capacity planning decisions.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Technology to ensure resource data integrity and support the development of optimal resource mixes.

2. OKR Tracking & Reporting

  • Partner with the Senior Data Analyst and PMO to track progress against strategic and operational OKRs.
  • Maintain and update dashboards that visualize OKR progress, blockers, and achievements.
  • Support structured reporting cycles and stakeholder engagement to ensure transparency and accountability in OKR delivery.
  • Provide actionable insights to help teams overcome blockers and achieve OKR targets.

3. Data Quality & Enablement

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of resource and OKR data across systems and stakeholders.
  • Support documentation of data processes and models related to resource and OKR tracking.
  • Assist in the adoption of automation and AI tools to streamline data capture and reporting.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in data analysis, preferably in project, resource, or change management environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with ServiceNow, Workday, and JIRA/Confluence.
  • Understanding of resource planning principles and OKR frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
