As a systems and infrastructure programmer-analyst working on operations, maintenance and development, you support IT efficiency. You analyze, design, configure, develop and upgrade software based on the needs of the organization. You assume shared responsibility for the quality of coded solutions. Your role consists in drawing on your proficient technological skills to help configure small-to-medium IT systems, software and applications and provide technical support when needed. You help analyze client needs and contribute to the elaboration of strategic directions for your line of work. You plan, prioritize and coordinate job tasks to ensure commitments made to reach objectives are respected. Your projects and initiatives require comprehensive knowledge of your field. You have a knack for managing complex issues, and you use this skill to help come up with and implement various fixes and solutions. You interact with teams in complementary fields where technology plays an important role. You provide clients and other key players with advisory services related to system support. More specifically, you will be required to:
Participate in the development of production strategies. Analyze and configure software solutions in accordance with requisite specifications, standards and procedures, with a special focus on matters related to security
Work with developers on cases that require extensions or custom scripts
Implement new features and configurations for applications and perform software package testing
Make sure current configuration settings comply with best practices to support the stability, performance and reliability of solutions in a production environment
Document technical solutions and practices to ensure product longevity. Participate in document creation and in the preparation and distribution of training materials for peers and consumers
Provide technical support for IT operations. Analyze issues and determine their source. Monitor system issues during medium-to-high severity incidents and handle their resolution
Cocreate with business partners and architects to ensure solutions used to reach business intentions and objectives are understood and standardized

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
