Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Proposal Lead, in Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD), who is ready to take on a new challenge with a high degree of responsibility in a growing and evolving business environment.

You will be working with other proposal leads supporting the development of proposals within the MRAD portfolio to meet or exceed metrics and performance benchmarks to maximize the effective use of investment dollars.

What You Will Do

  • Is responsible for updating proposal status, ensuring inputs are timely, analyzing pricing and creating Submit Gates
  • Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), Estimating and Pricing, and administrative functions
  • Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with proposal requirements including corporate and business policies and procedures
  • Support TINA compliance sweeps, develop compliant proposals
  • Maintain key metrics which will act as critical process indicators for the programs and organization to track designated proposal indicators
  • Ensure on-time delivery of proposal efforts; this includes providing turn-around metrics to the programs supported, identifying improvement opportunities, and taking the necessary steps to ensure quality, schedule, and cost requirements are achievable in execution
  • Provide Support to execution associate director during
  • Work with program and functional leadership to prepare effective Strategy Gate and Submit Gate
  • Expected to support travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience is required
  • Experience supporting proposals as an individual contributor
  • Experience balancing prioritization, cost, and schedule

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in both DCS and FMS proposals and Proposal
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals
  • Be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to balance multiple priorities and manage multicultural dynamics.
  • Prior experience supporting development of proposals for production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry

This position is an onsite role located in Andover, MA

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
