A Glimpse of the Job
The Program Manager plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day Student Enrollment Services activities, developing and implementing procedures for the administration of recruitment, admissions, and records/student information platforms unique to Student Enrollment Services. Is responsible for overseeing and managing the initial and future planning of promotional and informational materials unique to Student Enrollment Services platforms.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
Program Management and Administration
Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities for the design and procurement of recruitment and admissions materials.
Develops and implements procedures for the administration of the program.
Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support the recruitment and retention of students to Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Assists with the development and production of materials designed specifically for the student recruitment and enrollment.
Budget and Financial Coordination
Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes for Student Enrollment Services materials.
Prepares vouchers, purchase orders, and requisitions.
Coordinates with accounting personnel and other support staff.
Coordination and Collaboration
Maintains and develops collaborations and coordination between stakeholders by attending meetings and conference calls.
Coordinates with other stakeholders in recruitment activities for the academic programs at Texas A&M University at Galveston.
Special Events Coordination
Coordinates with other staff in all dimensions of the planning and execution of special events hosted by Student Enrollment Services

Salary: $75,000 annually

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of related experience working with student recruitment, admissions or records, or other related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visualization, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to balance a broad array of tasks and work cooperatively with a broad array of internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Texas A&M University at Galveston and the academic programs of the College of Marine Sciences and Maritime Studies
Exceptional customer-service skills
