VCU Health is seeking authentic, passionate and inspiring candidates to support program coordination for our virtually-enabled Hospital-at Home (HaH) program and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). This on-site position is housed in the health system’s Continuum Integration Center in north Richmond, this exciting opportunity offers innovation, professional growth, and opportunity to be a part of an already incredible team.
Located in contemporary offices on Richmond’s Northside, this on-site position will support the continued growth and development of a robust VCU Health at Home strategy.
The focus of the position is:
• Meeting minutes for teams meeting
• Manages Remote Patient Monitoring Kit (RPM) Inventory
• Manages Pagers
• Calls or sends certified mail to patients if missed RPM pick up and reschedule
• Scanning
• Distributes faxes
• Hospital at Home (HaH) and RPM staff HR file maintenance
• Supports Nurse Clinician with nurse onboarding and orientation
• Hospital at Home and RPM Attendance reports
• Payroll – Nurse Manager staff members, including time and attendance audits for fiscal accountability
• Outlook scheduling support for Nurse Manager, Continuing Care Team Lead
• Clinical Supplies and Inventory –ordering and accounts payable fiscal support
• Clinical Supply organization – maintains designated supply room
• Unit charge reconciliation (daily)
• Provides cross-coverage for other Program Coordinator
• Other duties as assigned

Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting.
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring.
Experience PREFERRED:
Five (5) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting.
Previous experience in an academic health care setting.
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
Project management and communication with a variety of individuals/entities and decision making.
