Job Description​

The Program Coordinator Anesthesiology assists Anesthesiology leadership, providers at all Anesthesia coverage facilities in daily operations as well as growth for the Anesthesiology programs.

  • Collect, audit, and submit physician and Anesthetist payments.

  • Gather and populate data for dashboards as requested for Volumes, RVUs and Anesthesia billing compliance.

  • Maintain provider schedules for OR /Critical Care intensivist and provide training on scheduling system.

  • Monitor credentialing and reappointment status and serve as resource to providers throughout process.

  • Monitor ongoing requirements of providers related to licensing, training, etc.

  • Coordinate interview and onboarding itineraries.

  • Schedule and take minutes for meetings.

  • Troubleshoot and provide initial support for pagers, Volte, scheduling system, etc. and submit orders and request tickets with IT as needed.

  • Track and process invoices.

  • Provide support with billing questions and inquiries including from Coding team, RIAs, patients, and CBO team.

  • Maintain provider orientation check lists, directories, and process documentation.

  • Maintain communication and support with OR team, Residency program coordinator, hospital-based clinics as well as ASC scheduling teams.
