Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the SP206 Information Technology (IT) Program Manager and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), principally in the management of SSP Logistics Information Systems, Applications and Cyber Security Requirements.
  • You will provide advice and recommendations on IM and IT systems analysis; interprets and applies IM and IT policies, processes and guidelines; conducts analysis and recommends resolution to problems and issues.
  • You will develop function and systems requirements and specifications for systems to meet business requirements; translate functional requirements into design specifications; and advise on the merits of proposed systems development projects.
  • You will coordinate and collaborate with SP206 staff, SSP CIO Office, support contractors and external Commands to ensure that SSP Logistics Systems meet all appropriate Navy and SSP Cyber Security standards.
  • You will perform duties as a Cyberspace Workforce member and as described in DoDM 8140.03 and SECNAV M-5239.2.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and developing cybersecurity and logistics program documentation to support system accreditation and budget forumlation by applying Risk Management Framework principles, technical expertise, and sound judgement to balance security, performance, and cost.
