PROGRAM ANALYST - CYBERSPACE OPERATIONS PLANNER

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Joint Forces Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Operations Directorate (N3), at the Office of the Commander at U.S. Fleet Cyber Command.
  • You will serve as a Cyberspace Operations (CO) Planner.
  • You will provide mission management and guidance on all JFHQ-C (Navy) Cyber Tactical Operations Cell (CTOC) operations.
  • You will lead coordination, planning, synchronization, and deconfliction of Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) in support of real time operations and exercises.
  • You will lead proactive, compliant, and effective CO by leveraging oversight of assigned forces tactical operations and mission compliance protocols.
  • You will assist in directing and/or directly providing capabilities and operational planning support, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week as needed during exercises and real-world contingencies.
  • You will assess the adequacy of existing plans to support operational parameters of crisis and contingency operations.
  • You will serve an expert representative of the command in working groups (WGs) and operational planning teams (OPTs), and cross-functional teams (CFT).
  • You will lead continuing assessment of strategies, policies, and processes to identify and develop requirements.

Qualifications: Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience coordinating staff and material requirements when planning for targeting efforts. -Experience overseeing targeting processes for operations and exercise planning. -Experience synchronizing lethal and non-lethal fires at various levels. -Experience planning and executing offensive and defensive cyber operations. -Experience presenting information briefs explaining target-specific conditions and solutions to senior leaders. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0343-13.
