This is a 3rd shift position

This role is for a nonexempt employee working in the Filling Department.  Their Bi-weekly pay is based on previous experience and education time.

Main Responsibilities:

Safety

  • Follows all established procedures to ensure personal and team safety; actively participates in monthly safety meetings and walkthroughs.

  • Reports all safety concerns, incidents, and near misses promptly to leadership and provides input on corrective and preventive actions.

  • Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by utilizing +QDCI boards for safety tracking and supporting continuous safety improvements.

Quality

  • Maintains FDA audit readiness by ensuring all processes follow proper procedures at all times.

  • Identifies, prevents, and assists in investigations of potential deviations and root cause analyses.

  • Accurately completes all quality documentation (BFRs, logbooks, etc.) on time and collaborates effectively with the Quality group to maintain positive rapport.

Delivery

  • Performs production per cGMP standards, adapting to volume fluctuations and business needs to ensure consistent staffing and performance.

  • Prepares areas for oncoming shifts, ensuring continuous operations and proper gowning/machine setup to protect product quality and safety.

  • Ensures timely availability of all Final Container materials and accurate Real Time SAP transactions for inventory accuracy.

Cost

  • Executes procedures as documented to minimize deviations and product loss.

  • Uses materials efficiently to reduce waste and records activities (HRxHR, changeovers) per Filling Standards.

  • Actively communicates improvement ideas, issues, and solutions to drive process efficiency.

Involvement

  • Trains and orients new team members while promoting understanding and adherence to cGMP requirements.

  • Participates in shift changes promptly and maintains all required training and documentation standards.

  • Supports team performance through engagement, communication, and compliance with all company policies.

All other duties as assigned.

Context of the Job / Major Challenges

  • Performs production activities in alignment with business needs, volume fluctuations, and established procedures; remains flexible to support staffing adjustments.

  • Collaborates with senior technicians, leads, and managers to ensure operational areas meet performance and quality goals.

  • Attends daily shift change meetings and prepares work areas for seamless transition between shifts.

  • Completes Real Time SAP transactions accurately for all inventory management activities and maintains access to key systems (SAP, RT Reports, eDoc, HMI, SCADA, Virtual Standards, etc.).

  • Reports production issues, observations, and improvement opportunities to leadership to support continuous operations.

  • Understands the science and technology behind process steps, including aseptic processing, environmental monitoring, and proper gowning techniques.

  • Trained and capable of performing across multiple areas within the Filling umbrella (material movement, prep, aseptic corridor, and machine operation).

  • Ensures training and gowning status are maintained at all times to enable agility and compliance within aseptic production areas.

About You

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HS/GED with at least 6+ months prior manufacturing work experience or.

  • Associates degree with prior manufacturing work experience.

  • Prior or related cGMP or Pharmaceutical experience recommended.

  • Must have basic mechanical aptitude, computer skills, good comprehension skills, retention skills, manual dexterity, and ability to troubleshoot.

The salary range for this position is:

$19.63 - $26.18
