Production Specialist - 1st Shift at Conagra Brands

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.79 an hour

We are hiring for Production Workers to build our delicious Sandwich Bros. and Odom's Tennessee Pride sandwiches. You will report to a Production Line Supervisor and join a team of about 400 associates.

A Day in the Life of a (Production Specialist):

Production Specialists are responsible for the overall SQF (Safe Quality Food); food safety and Quality Assurance of product. They are to inspect products for defects based on QA Guidelines for acceptable and non-acceptable product, discarding defective product into the proper containers to ensure food safety and quality assurance. It is essential that they maintain good housekeeping practices. Employee must follow all OSHA and Plant Safety rules and report to the supervisor.

You Will:

You will be making Odom's Tennessee Pride and Sandwich Bros.'s sandwich products by hand. This would include adding meat and/or cheese within the biscuit or flatbread pocket.
You will help to perform product checks on Sandwich Bros. and Odom's Tennessee Pride products to ensure quality for our consumers
Our goal is to keep improving and developing efficient processes within our production line, you as production worker will play an active role
Cleanliness is important at our facilities. You will help with equipment sanitation and maintain a clean work area
You will follow Quality Assurance standards
Production workers will be trained and developed to support any position on the production line

You Have:

Overtime may be needed to ensure fulfill production demand
This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like, lifting boxes of up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, using your hands in freezer environment
This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy. Safety is important to us, we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment
