A highly rewarding opportunity has arisen within the Planning & Logistics function at Airbus Broughton.
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler to assume a crucial role, focusing on the end-to-end management of planning and logistics processes for our flagship programmes.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and provide essential operational support for the assembly of Airbus wings and fuel system installations. Join our committed and diverse team where your expertise will directly enable both the "Wing of the Future" programme and the long-term strategic growth goals of the civil aircraft sector.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Production Flow Optimisation
Drive efficiency across Operational Business Areas to consistently meet financial man-hours per set targets.
Manage production agility by proactively anticipating, responding to, and planning for changes in rate, while managing associated risks and opportunities.
Enable critical deliverables by supporting Operational and Functional goals, acting quickly to adapt to shifts in the production environment.
Supply Chain & Risk Management
Mitigate supplier risk by building a strong interface with Airbus Supply Chain to anticipate and address supplier performance issues, protecting Operations from impact.
Ensure adherence to logistical standards by maintaining a strong interface with the Airbus Logistics Service Provider (LSP) and addressing any process non-adherence swiftly.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Champion continuous improvement by actively supporting multi-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall business performance.
Facilitate the deployment and sustainment of the Airbus Operating System (AOS) across all relevant areas.
ABOUT YOU:
SAP Planning & Logistics: Demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP modules relevant to Planning & Logistics.
Data Analysis: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including expertise in data manipulation and macro development.
Operational Planning: A proven, results-driven, logical, and methodical approach to production scheduling and achieving operational objectives.
