We invite you to join our Mechanical Engine Systems (MES) team as a Production Planner. In this critical role, you will support our manufacturing operations while ensuring the reliable delivery of high-quality aerospace products. You will contribute directly to the execution of our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and daily Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE). You will help drive the alignment of demand, supply, and production plans that enable our operations to meet customer and internal commitments.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM), coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering critical engine components and assemblies to a range of military and commercial customers.
What You Will Do
Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules to support customer demand, operational readiness, and efficient resource utilization.
MRP Management: Oversee SAP MRP activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and components, preventing shortages and minimizing excess inventory.
Material Management: Maintain consistent material availability, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to support uninterrupted manufacturing flow.
SIOP Collaboration: Support the SIOP cycle by partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to develop an integrated and executable demand and supply plan.
Forecast & Demand Alignment: Review demand forecasts, reconcile them with capacity and material availability, and address potential imbalances proactively.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze KPIs tied to production, materials, and inventory performance, implementing improvements where needed.
Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials, Industrial Management, Quality, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution of plans and timely issue resolution.
SAP Expertise: Utilize SAP to execute material planning, production order creation, inventory analysis, and ensure system data integrity.
Issue Resolution: Identify risks including shortages, bottlenecks, and disruptions; develop and implement recovery and mitigation plans with cross-functional partners.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate WIP status and material position as well as obstacles preventing achievement of output goals.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience in production and/or material planning.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in production and material planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
SAP PP and MM modules, including end-to-end MRP functionality experience
Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) practices
Skills in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management.
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
