This internship offers a unique opportunity to bridge engineering and communication within a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment. The intern will assist process engineers with sustaining and improvement activities while transforming written work instructions into professional training videos using Microsoft Clipchamp. The ideal candidate combines technical curiosity with creativity, capable of understanding manufacturing workflows and turning them into clear, visual learning content for operators and engineers.

Internship duration will be from January 2026 - June 2026, working at least 30 hours a week

Principle Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in daily process sustaining activities, including yield excursion analysis and procedure development.
  • Review product and process data to ensure performance specifications are met.
  • Support the installation, operation, and maintenance of wafer fabrication equipment.
  • Conduct basic process development and documentation to maintain product quality.
  • Track engineering changes and update work instructions (WIs), process recipes, and MES documentation accordingly.
  • Participate in experiments to validate new components, parameters, or process flows.
  • Collaborate closely with the development and production teams on ongoing improvement projects.

Training Content Development

  • Review existing work instructions, process recipes, and MES screenshots to identify key training topics.
  • Plan, record, and edit video demonstrations of wafer fabrication processes (tool operation, safety steps, measurements, etc.).
  • Use Microsoft Clipchamp to edit clips — adding annotations, subtitles, voiceovers, and visual highlights for clarity.
  • Create 1–3-minute video modules that align with standardized process documentation and operator training standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to verify technical accuracy of content prior to release.
  • Maintain all training media within company document control systems (Opcenter, SharePoint, SPC folders).
  • Support continuous improvement by creating before-and-after visual comparisons that showcase process enhancements.
  • Develop procedures related to operator training, certification, and visual work instructions.

Education

Currently enrolled or recent graduate in with Engineering field.
