The Production Engineer position is responsible for contributing technical expertise to ensure the operation produces product that meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements. This position will design, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to meet goals established by the business/location, along with providing technical guidance to the plant operations teams to assist with process troubleshooting and developing corrective action plans.
Main Accountabilities
Reports to an Area Manager or a Technical Manager but may be under the working supervision and mentoring of a Senior Engineer. Position is closely supervised. Work plans are reviewed for accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Demonstrated ability to provide technical supervision and instructions to process operators is one of the indications that the individual is ready for promotion.

The Salary range for this position is $56,100.00 - $74,800.00 - $93,500.00 USD Annually

The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
In addition, this job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
