You will drive improvements throughout distribution transformer production in Hitachi Energy, Distribution Transformers in Dudullu. Reporting to the Production Development Manager, your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.
How you will make an impact
Defining the working-phase sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets. Optimizing facility layouts to improve workflow efficiency and support production goals.
Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, cycle time, equipment performance and materials/components.
Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
Investigating the development of new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications, such as improved productivity, capacity, throughput, safety, ergonomics and quality.
Managing investment budgets for production processes, including drafting technical specifications for obtaining quotes from domestic and international suppliers.
Overseeing the management and maintenance of fixed assets to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production personnel to ensure a skilled and competent team.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.
Min.5 years of experience in transformer industry or relevant work experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Research, reporting, and analytical skills, including good knowledge of MS Office and 2D and 3D drawing programs.
Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated and having customer-oriented approach. Be innovative with the ability to work with cross-functional groups to implement improvements. Also, someone who can work with a 'learn&do'mindset across all processes.
Advanced verbal and written communications skills in English as a must.
