What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Permian market.

  • Manage existing customer relationships and expand our client base.

  • Drive market share growth

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.

  • Analyze sales data and provide accurate sales forecasts to the manufacturing and operations team

  • Drive innovative marketing strategics to continue to promote Norris as a leading sucker rod supplier

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in the oil and gas sector.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing.

  • Collaborate with cross opco and organization teams to leverage strengths

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.

  • Lead and motivate the Permian sales team to achieve targets.

  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining regular communication.

  • Oversee the timely delivery of the Norris product line, including Sucker Rods, Couplings, Polished Rods, Guides, and well servicing tools.

  • Collaborate closely with our manufacturing facility to ensure production schedules align with customer demands.

  • Support Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning (SIOP) Process.

  • Manage inventory levels across our operations, optimizing stock availability while minimizing excess.

  • Focus on reducing D level inventory and manage healthy inventory levels across all locations.

  • Lead strategic investment initiatives for our warehouses and guiding facilities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

  • Coordinate all aspects of product delivery, shipping, and warehousing.

  • Work closely with the Safety Coordinator to communicate safety issues, follow up on incidents, and identify hazards.

  • Facilitate a strong CI Culture.

  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment and coordinate deliveries to customers.

  • Stay informed about changing market conditions and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

  • Manage OEE for all guiding facilities.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with customers, third-party contractors, vendors, and internal ChampionX teams.

  • Foster strong relationships to enhance collaboration and problem-solving.

  • Review and process sales orders, invoices, addressing any discrepancies.

  • Assist with operations budgeting, collecting inputs from managers, and preparing monthly budget variance reports for leadership review.

  • If necessary, cover for the Branch Manager(s) during scheduled vacations or PTO.

  • Set clear goals and objectives for your team and monitor progress toward achieving them.

  • Manage turn over and employee development.

  • Other duties as required.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

Required

  • Four-year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence.

    or 5 years equivalent education and/or experience.

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred

Experience:

Required

  • Six or more years of relevant experience in sales and operations management
  • Two or more years of experience in oil & gas industry
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Understanding quality standards and programs such as: ISO Certification, API, ASTM, AISI, ASME & SAE considered an asset
