About the role:

The Products Regulatory Compliance Specialist ensures that all Solenis chemical products comply with regulatory requirements in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. This role involves managing product registrations, understanding hazard classifications, labeling, and documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external regulatory bodies. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can navigate complex regulations, work under pressure, and think creatively to solve compliance challenges.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure legal compliance and registration of chemical products in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local chemical regulations and monitor changes that impact product compliance.

  • Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels to meet regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with country leadership, regional marketing, and global product safety teams to align compliance strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to respond to customer inquiries related to regulatory compliance and product safety.

  • Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of compliance activities.

  • Coordinate internal and external testing and reporting for regulated products.

  • Support global initiatives and contribute to regional compliance projects.

Key Competencies & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (other disciplines considered with relevant experience).

  • 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or chemical registration.

  • Familiarity with APAC chemical regulations and hazard communication standards (e.g., GHS).

  • Experience working with database systems for compliance tracking is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of chemical regulatory frameworks and ability to interpret legislation.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with limited information.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn.
