The Product Owner – FIRST InSite will report into the EVP, Strategic Initiatives, and will play a key role in defining, delivering and evolving the InSite platform as aligned to the Digital Strategy.  This individual: engages with various departments across, and at all levels, of the organization to analyze existing business and operational procedures, prescribe how external / internal needs may be best met through process improvement via InSite features and functions; establishes the end-to-end target user experience via functional design user story elaboration in JIRA, and consults with Project Managers, Business Analysts, the IT Application Development team, and Input 1 Vendor in feasibility and solution design analysis.  The Product Owner will also work in collaboration with the FIRST and Enterprise Salesforce Product and Center of Excellence Teams to deliver tightly integrated lending processes from Lead Identification to Customer Onboarding and Administration across the two platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Product Design and Innovation: Liaise with Business Stakeholders and End Users, FIRST InSite and Salesforce Product Teams, IT partners across Wintrust, and the Vendor to drive design and innovation in platform capability enhancement and expansion. 
  • Product Requirements Definition:  Produce related project documentation to support platform health and expansion including: business requirements in the form of JIRA user stories with related current and target state process flows / business architecture diagrams and functional definition and related artifacts to drive business validation.  Own and tightly manage the Product Backlog.
  • Product Testing and Validation: Partner with VP, Project Management to support the coordination of User Acceptance Testing among Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders and End Users, perform and oversee test script execution and report defects back to IT to resolve issues prior to implementation.
  • Product Roll-out and Training: Partner with EVP, Strategic Initiatives and Learning & Development Partners to define custom training content, participating in end-user training sessions as the Product SME.
  • Product Management and Administration: Assist end users with business administration, enhancements, production issues and related projects; work with the EVP, Strategic Initiatives to prioritize and align business requests to the Strategic Roadmap, and escalations as required for production hot fix.

    Compensation

    The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience
