Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the Vision & Roadmap: Define, communicate, and execute the product roadmap and strategic initiatives, ensuring tight alignment with both customer needs and organizational objectives. 

  • Master the Backlog: Lead and prioritize the product backlog, translating complex business needs, user feedback, and mandatory regulatory upgrades into well-defined epics and user stories. 

  • Lead & Collaborate: Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders. Drive alignment between engineering, design, compliance, and business units to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions. 

  • Be the Regulatory Expert: Proactively monitor and analyze industry-wide regulatory developments, incorporating emerging requirements into the product roadmap to keep clients ahead of the curve. 

  • Champion the User: Serve as the principal advocate for the user experience, ensuring the delivery of an intuitive, reliable, and value-driven platform. 

  • Measure What Matters: Establish, track, and report on key metrics to evaluate product and feature performance, using data to inform future iterations. 

 

Qualifications 

Core Requirements 

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SaaS or enterprise-level software environment. 

  • Proven Product Lifecycle Management: A demonstrable track record of managing complex products and delivering strategic initiatives from concept to launch. 

  • Agile Expertise: Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and extensive experience leading high performing, distributed (offshore) Agile development teams. 

  • Masterful Communicator: Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels, from executive leadership to technical engineering teams. 

Highly Desired (The Ideal Candidate) 

  • Compliance Domain Experience: Prior exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven product domains is highly desirable. 

  • SEC/Filing Knowledge: Knowledge of the SEC filing process and related regulatory concepts (EDGAR, iXBRL) is a significant advantage and will set you apart.

  • Standards & Community Engagement: Actively monitor and participate in industry groups such as XBRL.org, XBRL US, XBRLEUROPE.org, or other regulatory working groups to stay ahead of emerging standards, propose improvements, and communicate product-impacting updates. 

  • Regulatory Interpretation: Ability to translate evolving regulations and taxonomy updates into clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams and business stakeholders.

  • Smart MVP Focus: Skilled at defining MVPs that are minimal yet meaningful prioritizing the most impactful, high-value capabilities first to ensure users see immediate benefit.

Product Design & User Experience (Preferred Skills)   

  • Proficiency with prototyping and wireframing tools (Figma) to define workflows, visualize concepts, and collaborate effectively with design teams.  

 Product Analytics & Adoption Tools (Preferred Skills)   

  • Hands-on experience with product analytics and in-app engagement platforms such as Pendo, UserPilot to understand user behavior, measure adoption, run experiments, and optimize the product experience.  

Agile Tooling & Documentation (Preferred Skills)  

  • Strong proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, including backlog management, sprint planning, requirement documentation, roadmap visualization, and cross-team collaboration.
