The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of our automotive retail and service software products. The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 4 years of strong experience as a Product Manager and preferably have a technical background. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and the ability to work closely with a development team based in India.
What You’ll Do
Product Requirements:
- Define and decompose requirements to communicate product features in alignment with the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, and translate them into actionable user stories and features.
Backlog Management:
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and aligned with the product vision.
- Work closely with the development team to refine and clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables.
Collaboration:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, customers, and the development team.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, facilitating communication and alignment across all parties.
Agile Methodologies:
- Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure that the development team understands the product goals and is aligned with the sprint objectives.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the development process, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust the product strategy as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the retail automotive software domain.
- Technical Background: A strong technical background is preferred, with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas.
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience leading agile teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
