AstraZeneca

Product Manager, CVRM (New Position)

Thailand - Bangkok Full time

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to lead the charge in launching a groundbreaking product within AstraZeneca's expanding Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM) portfolio? As a Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of defining and executing the launch strategy for a new asset, ensuring seamless commercialization and cross-functional alignment. If you have a proven track record of successful product launches and thrive in a dynamic, science-driven environment, this is your chance to make a significant impact!

Accountabilities:

  • Launch Strategy & Planning: Define the launch vision, competitive positioning, value proposition, and brand strategy for the CVRM asset across prioritized indications and markets.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead integrated Launch Readiness Planning, including market segmentation, messaging, channel mix, and omnichannel activation across HCP, patient, and payer audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate matrix teams (Medical, Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, Regulatory, Supply, Commercial Excellence, Sales, Digital, Legal/Compliance) to deliver milestones on time and budget.
  • Customer Insights & Evidence: Own the insight generation plan (primary market research, KOL input, customer advisory boards) and translate evidence (clinical and real-world) into compelling value communication.
  • Agile Experimentation: Design and run rapid test-and-learn to optimize messaging, channels, and engagement; scale what works quickly.
  • Market Access Readiness: Partner with Market Access to shape payer value stories, contracting strategies, and launch sequencing; support HEOR for evidence needs and value dossiers.
  • Demand Forecasting & Supply Readiness: Collaborate with Finance and Operations on robust forecasts, scenario planning, and launch inventory strategies to ensure high service levels.
  • Performance Management: Define KPIs and leading indicators (awareness, intent, access wins, HCP activation, adherence, digital engagement), build dashboards, and course-correct based on data.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with field leadership, KOLs, patient advocacy groups, and internal governance bodies; ensure compliant, science-led communication.
  • Risk Management & Governance: Identify and mitigate launch risks (regulatory, access, supply, reputation); manage decision logs, change controls, and compliance reviews.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Own launch budget; select and manage agency and vendor partners to deliver high-quality assets and programs.
  • Culture & Leadership: Model bold decision-making, psychological safety, and collaborative behaviors; coach teams through ambiguity and accelerate outcomes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience: 8+ years in pharmaceutical/medical device commercial roles, including 4+ years in product management with at least two successful new product or major indication launches; CVRM or adjacent therapeutic area experience strongly preferred.
  • Launch Excellence: Demonstrated end-to-end launch ownership (strategy through execution) with measurable business impact (e.g., access attainment, share capture, adoption curves).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional, matrix teams; courageous, decisive, and collaborative; adept at influencing without authority.
  • Agile & Data-Driven: Hands-on experience with agile ways of working, test-and-learn, and performance optimization using quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Market Access & Evidence: Strong understanding of payer dynamics, value communication, HEOR, and pricing strategy in key markets.
  • Customer-Centricity: Deep HCP and patient insight generation expertise; ability to translate clinical data into compelling, compliant value narratives.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical promotion regulations and ethical standards; commitment to compliant execution.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Therapeutic Expertise: Direct experience in cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, or metabolic diseases.
  • Digital & Omnichannel: Proven success in digital engagement, CRM, marketing automation, and advanced analytics for launch.
  • Global/Regional Exposure: Experience working across multiple countries or regions; ability to tailor strategies to local market realities.
  • Education: MBA, MSc, or relevant advanced degree.
