Product Manager - Compliance Products

Nord Pool is looking for a Product Manager to lead our Compliance Products (including REMIT transaction reporting and UMM) and help shape the future of our Power Exchange. This role is based in Espoo, Finland or Oslo, Norway..

You will report to the Head of Products within Nord Pool’s Product and Strategy department, working closely with colleagues across Product, Services and Business Development and the Chief Strategy Officer.

You will work with fellow Product Managers to deliver exceptional user experiences and services, helping to build the Power Exchange of the future.
 

Our markets operate around 24/7/365, offering a dynamic and challenging environment. While prior experience in power trading is not required, a passion for learning and a proactive approach are essential. While focused towards Compliance Products, the role will develop into a key influencer of the Power Exchange itself.

Currently the most important regulatory frameworks for this position are REMIT (Regulation on wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency) and Transparency Regulation (COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 543/2013 of 14 June 2013). Main tasks

• Lead the strategy and roadmap for Compliance Products, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Service Owners on technical system design.
• Manage product P&L, including budgeting and pricing.
• Monitor regulatory developments and adapt products accordingly.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to ensure products meet client needs.

PM role description

• Oversee products from concept to production, including handover to service owners.
• Maintain and update the product’s three-year business plan.
• Translate regulatory changes into product requirements and roadmap updates.
• Own the product backlog and participate in development ceremonies.
• Support business development and partnership activities related to the product.

Core skills

• Solid understanding of energy markets in general, with 3 years minimum experience in energy trading/exchanges. Understanding of energy regulation and/or MIFID(2), MIFIR, EMIR regulations is a plus
• Prior experience with regulated products or services, as well as direct experience engaging with regulatory authorities, is highly valued.Interest in innovations
• Experience with managing and participating in multiple projects and getting own opinions across
• International experience, cultural sensitivity and proven international exposure
