Job Description
The Product Manager for Billing and Platforms in the Optimize my Cash Flow Product Group oversees the customer billing lifecycle for deposit and cash management services, including onboarding, repricing, and offboarding. They also manage business as usual activities on cash management platforms such as Web Business Banking and TD Business Central, handling incidents and security improvements. The objective of the role is to enhance and automate billing functions, close revenue gaps due to billing errors, and ensure clear, timely communication as it relates to TD and CMS vendor incidents. The role will support Business Banking’s growth strategy and improve customer and colleague experiences.
Key Accountabilities
Gather insights from sales colleagues and customers to identify and prioritize key features needed for the enhancement/ development of a new deposit and cash management services billing system, including targeted and time limited discounts and offers.
Map customer onboarding and offboarding processes for deposit and cash management services billing to boost efficiency, automate tasks, and enhance revenue.
Implement process improvements and technology upgrades to reduce hand-offs, ensure accurate programming, and replace manual work with guided workflows for faster results.
Collaborate with analytics teams to develop tools and dashboards that will assist sales colleagues with periodic customer reviews, that assess revenue relative to servicing costs to support customer repricing.
Collaborate with TD Business Central migration team to ensure accurate billing of cash management services as customers transition from Web Business Banking to TD Business Central.
Support the remediation of billing incidents, coordinating with partners to ensure clear and transparent colleague and customer communications and timely customer reimbursements.
Support new CMS and deposit product introductions, developing pricing grids, policies, and procedures for sales and onboarding to ensure accurate billing.
Manage business as usual activities on cash management platforms such as Web Business Banking and TD Business Central, handling incidents and serving as business owner for any security improvements
Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies, ensuring programs, policies, and practices are effectively managed, meet business objectives, and maintain compliance.
Engage fully as a team member, fostering a constructive work environment that prioritizes service excellence, innovation, and collaboration, while ensuring effective communication of relevant issues or concerns.
Deliver training and support to sales and operational teams as necessary.
Maintain discretion when managing correspondence, information, and confidentiality; escalate matters as necessary.
Lead and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish productive partnerships.
Serve as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and externally.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in digital onboarding solutions and/or cash management; 7+ years relevant experience
Skilled in requirements gathering and documentation using a scaled agile methodology
Experience in process mapping and improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well organized, able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in transaction banking.
