Product Lead - Intelligent Document Processing & ValidationJob Description:
What you'll be doing:
Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define, champion, and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap for the Document Validation AI Solution, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and client roadmaps.
Innovation & Delivery Management: Drive the product from conception (PoC's) through to full deployment, ensuring the delivery team effectively manages the balance between new development, projects, and maintaining stable BAU operations.
AI Solution Expertise & Cloud Focus: Lead the technical review of new solutions and actively research new technologies in the market, focusing specifically on Document Validation and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) utilising AI and Machine Learning (ML) deployed via a cloud-first approach.
Commercial Support: Provide essential technical insight and solution specifications to the CRM and Professional Services teams to support bids, tender responses, and ultimately secure new business.
What we're looking for:
Essential Skills & Experience
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency and experience in the following areas:
Product Ownership & Agile: Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or Product Manager, including managing product backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and leading sprints within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
IDP Domain Expertise: Direct experience working with and deploying enterprise-level Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) or Document Validation solutions, such as Kofax, ABBYY, Hyland, or similar platforms.
AI/ML in Document Processing: Significant, hands-on experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance or automate document capturing, validation, classification, and data extraction processes.
Cloud-Native Development: Demonstrated experience with a "cloud first" approach to product development, specifically integrating or deploying AI/ML models on major public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Delivery Scope Management: Experience working within a delivery team structure that effectively balances the competing demands of innovation, projects, and BAU support.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate technical details tailored to the audience, translating complex requirements between technical teams (Catlab/Engineering) and business stakeholders (Sales/Operations/Clients).
Commercial Acumen: Ability to support bid/pre-sales teams, draft solution specifications, and calculate quotations for new business.
Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel to attend sites across the UK and Ireland as required. UK Driving license required.
Desirable Experience
An understanding of and experience of working with customers in regulated industries.
Previous experience working in a large corporate company environment.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
