The Product Engineer will join our team in Haan and lead and support engineering efforts for existing filtration products within the food and beverage industry. We are seeking a curious, driven problem solver with strong project execution skills and the ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced, global team environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive business continuity by executing engineering projects that mitigate product portfolio risks and adapt products to evolving customer needs.

  • Develop and maintain product requirements and testing plans using tools such as Design Verification Plan and Reports (DVP&Rs).

  • Utilize product lifecycle management (PLM) software to manage part and document revisions.

  • Review and update technical drawings to support part changes and ensure accuracy.

  • Coordinate and support manufacturing trials to validate new materials, explore alternative manufacturing methods, and assist in new product development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver project outcomes effectively.

  • Organize internal and external testing to assess product performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance product design, improve performance, and reduce variability.

  • Communicate project status and key updates to global teams and senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 2+ years related professional engineering experience or a Master's in an engineering-related field

  • Fluent in English and German

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong presentation skills and ability/willingness to communicate at all levels

  • Product design or manufacturing experience

  • Flexibility when managing through competing projects and priorities

  • Project management skills

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software

  • Experience interpreting and reviewing technical drawings

  • Filtration knowledge/experience

  • Experience with international food manufacturing regulations

  • Machined component design

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
