Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Quality Team and Operations
Lead alternative component worst case circuit analysis
Lead internal and external (supplier driven) electrical CR/CN analysis and processing
Support product documentation creation and markup
Provide support for current production and new product launches
Support operations and customer satisfaction in the execution of line pull First Time Quality (FTQ) analysis on Electronic / Electrification products (Utilize statistical problem-solving tools where applicable)
Participate in root cause analysis of line pulls, customer returns and validation failures (electrical)
Assist SQE’s in resolution of supplier issues using structured problem solving methods
Support procurement, installation, qualification and operation of equipment used in PE Lab, prototyping, validation
Report identified safety risks and opportunity for improvement
Participate in projects related to improving PE lab analysis efficiency
- Work with customer satisfaction to lead the efforts to improve FTQ on production products
Support analysis of customer assembly plant returns
Initiate measures to improve customer RPPM (Returned Parts Per Million) and warranty CPV (Complaints Per Vehicle) / IPTV (Incident Per Thousand Vehicles)
Evaluate and approve supplier component substitutions
Lead supplier change evaluation and provide technical support to the customers
Initiate and implement Material Cost Improvement Process (MCIP) projects on products
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering / Robotics
Understand components specifications, datasheets, schematics, design requirements
Understand analog and digital electronic circuits (power switching, closed loop voltage/current feedback, MOSFET drivers, PWM circuits)
Knowledge of high voltage / high power electronics
Understand communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, RS232, Flex Ray
Ability to perform theoretical calculations and analytical analysis
Nice to have - knowledge of microcontroller architecture and memory organization (generic, NXP and Infineon MCUs)
Nice to have - knowledge of Programming in C/C++, C#, batch/PowerShell scripts
Nice to have - knowledge of modern electronics manufacturing process in automotive
Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electrical loads, soldering tools etc.
Capability of creating documentation (procedures, work instructions, etc.)
Good MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
Very Good English spoken and written
