Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

The Product Owner and Workflow Integration Consulting Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of Command Center software solutions to GE HealthCare clients. This role blends traditional consulting with advanced analytics, and product design disciplines such as predictive modeling, simulation, and real-time data optimization. Engagements are driven by a problem-back approach, using stakeholder interviews and data mining to identify high-value opportunities, then designing and implementing targeted software and analytic solutions that improve operational and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and manage analytics engagements from scoping through delivery, ensuring alignment with client goals and strategic priorities.

  • Oversee data collection, validation, and advanced analysis to support engagement objectives and uncover actionable insights.

  • Guide the design and execution of the Command Center Software Platform (CCSP), simulations, and forecasting tools.

  • Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.

  • Prioritize features and enhancements using data-driven decision-making and stakeholder input.

  • Independently collect, synthesize, and validate HIS back-end systems HL7 and non-HL7 data to support development of software development integrating knowledge of patient and clinical workflow to ensure analytics are effective.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, commercial to deliver high-impact products.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner.

  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.

  • Mentor and develop junior consultants and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

  • Represent GE HealthCare in client and public settings with professionalism and subject matter expertise.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge management, innovation initiatives, and best practice sharing across the analytics team.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in leading analytics projects and teams, with a strong ability to translate data into strategic insights.

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, including defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and delivering analytics-driven solutions.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Health Sciences or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in tools such as R, Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel; experience with cloud-based analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Experience in process design, protocol development, and operational improvement.

  • Experience with EHR and other clinical and operational systems.

  • Experience in HL7, FHIR, and API data sources.

  • Proven ability to accomplish large volume of high-quality work under pressure.

  • Ability to travel globally up to 75%.

Desired Skills

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.

  • Formal training in structured problem solving and change management.

  • Experience in healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or acute care settings.

  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design tools such as Sketch or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated success in driving outcome-based improvements and managing cross-functional teams.
