What you will do

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Director to be the business partner to the respective business units, responsible for all aspects of Procurement within the business.
How you will do it
• Manage internal relationships with key business partners including business unit VP/GMs and functional leaders such as BU controller, transformation leader, HR, IT, installation excellence, and service leader.
• Effectively engage in business planning process to support business goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of direct reports
• Be an active member of the BU senior leadership team. Develop a true partnership with the business with deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives and translate into strategic procurement actions that deliver value.
• Develop and implement annual strategic and tactical plans for the function.
• Responsible for delivering annual goals such as cost savings, trade working capital improvement, supply base rationalization, revenue growth, and margin improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement and functional excellence, bringing to bear leading internal and external methodologies.
• Collaborate with regional and global category management organization to support the development and implementation/execution of category strategies.
• Responsible for the talent development and succession planning within the procurement function, with support from central procurement talent development team.
• Drive efficiency and simplification of Procure to Pay processes.
What we look for
• 8+ years of procurement experience including experience leading a (5+) team.
• Ability to drive strategic supplier partnerships encouraging innovations with business partners and strategic category management.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier partnerships driving year over year continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to operate effectively in a large, matrix organization.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to influence and drive alignment on sophisticated strategies with the business.
• Solid understanding of procurement policy, processes, and tools in a highly efficient shared service center architecture.
• Results driven. Able to achieve goals, self-motivate, take initiative, and generally operate with minimal direction.
• Able to challenge status quo and build innovative sourcing ideas that drive cost reduction.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $141,000 - 192,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
