The Role
We are looking for a Procurement & Contract Expert for our Design Office in Lahore, Pakistan. The role will manage end-to-end procurement and tendering processes for project packages, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of services from qualified contractors while adhering to project strategy, FIDIC standards, and local contractual regulations.

  • Prequalification of Bidders: Develop selection criteria, invite the reputable and qualified contractors, evaluate the contractors’ documents and prepare the contractors’ evaluation report, shortlist the suitable and experienced local contractors/vendors for the client. 
  • Sourcing & Strategy: Provide input into the final procurement strategy for Prequalification Documents (PQD) and package plans. Finalize the list of reputable contractors/vendors with strong experience and financial stability. 
  • Tender Management: Develop and administer and tender documents, including Request for Tender (RFT), Instructions to Bidders, Particular & Special Conditions of Contract Prepare response to the queries from the bidders during the bidding process. 
  • Evaluation & Adjudication: Assist in tender adjudication process, evaluating bids for compliance, qualifications, and financial competitiveness to support the tender evaluation report. 

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

  • Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of procurement and contract management experience in the construction/infrastructure sector in Pakistan.
  • Proven hands-on experience with FIDIC contracts and strong knowledge of Sindh & PEC contractual laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
