Relevant du Manager senior de l’équipe des groupe Procédés d'assemblage des composants photoniques, le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) travaillera en collaboration avec les ingénieur(e)s procédés afin d'améliorer la documentation et la communication avec notre partenaire de fabrication. Ce poste vise à optimiser la qualité et l'efficacité de la production.
Rôles et Responsabilités
- Rédiger une documentation technique détaillée pour coordonner le travail avec le laboratoire interne et les partenaires, en veillant à l'exactitude et à la clarté des instructions.
- Collaborer avec les ingénieurs pour examiner et améliorer la documentation afin d'assurer le bon déroulement des tâches.
- Analyser le trafic généré par les demandes des ingénieurs afin d'optimiser les flux de travail et les opérations.
- Superviser les activités du laboratoire et fournir un soutien pour garantir leur conformité aux exigences du projet.
- Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration des processus au sein des opérations du laboratoire et des flux de travail de la documentation technique.
- Communiquer efficacement avec les équipes transversales pour garantir la cohérence et l'efficacité.
- Développer, améliorer et optimiser les processus de communication existants. Cela peut impliquer de l'automatisation.
- Assister le chef de programme/projet afin d'assurer la fluidité de la gestion des stocks de composants et de matériaux, des inspections, des achats et des expéditions.

Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Photonic Components Assembly Processes group, the successful candidate will be working with the process engineers to help them improve documentation and communication efficiency with our manufacturing partner. This role will aim to enhance production quality and efficiency.
Roles, Responsibilities and contribution
- Draft detailed technical documentation to coordinate work with internal lab and partners, ensuring accuracy and clarity in instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers to review and refine documentation for seamless execution of tasks.
- Analyze traffic generated by engineers' requests to optimize workflows and operations.
- Monitor lab activities and provide support to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within lab operations and technical documentation workflows.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Develop, improve and optimize current communication processes. May involve automation.
- Assist the Program/Project Manager to keep the component & material inventory, inspection, purchasing and expedition flow seamless.
The Must Haves:
- Cegep or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering field.
- + 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience in drafting and managing detailed technical documentation, including workflows, lab procedures, and work instructions
- Familiarity with lab operations, technical workflows
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective coordination across teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to details.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in clean room work environment
- Experience in micro-electronics / SMT process
- Experience managing projects with tight timelines.
Pay Range:
The salary range is $66, 800 - $106, 800
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
