Process Engineer

Washington - Pullman Full time

As a Process Engineer, a typical day will include the following:

  • Provide engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.

  • Specify, develop, justify, implement, and sustain assembly equipment and materials.

  • Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.

  • Apply statistical problem solving to identify root cause, evaluate new equipment and processes and process improvement activities.

  • Interpret results and provide recommendations to management.

  • Keep abreast of new developments in equipment, industry standards, be practices, and developments in assembly processes.

  • Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  • Understand. Create. Simplify.

  • Other duties as assigned.


This job might for you if you have:

  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years' experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing company.

  • Ability to lead a cross functional team.

  • Ability to influence others and reach consensus.

  • Project management experience.

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements.

  • Effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

  • Thorough understanding of the materials used in the industry.

Salary Range Data:

We anticipate filling this position as a Process Engineer: $97,740 - $107,079 per year. Associate Process Engineer: $84,240- $92,289 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
