The Role:
The Strategic Accounts Team works collaboratively across Blue Owl’s platform to deliver the highest level of business development and engagement to wealth management clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in both fundraising and relationship management, supporting partner engagement across top client accounts within the regional and independent broker/dealer channel. This Vice President-level role requires a strong understanding of Blue Owl’s investment strategies and solutions, executes at ths. The role will require travel and direct communication with strategic relationships.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage relationships with private wealth platforms, while developing new connections across various levels.
Maintain a deep understanding of firms’ platforms, manager evaluation processes, firm initiatives, and investment trends.
Develop a financial and structural understanding of Blue Owl’s products.
Educate advisory teams and stakeholders on Blue Owl’s alternative investment strategies and offerings.
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, identify opportunities, and measure results.
Respond to internal and external requests with a client service mindset and a strong sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in alternative investment management, ideally with a focus on credit products including private debt and/or private equity.
Proven ability to communicate and present effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Blue Owl’s investment strategy, differentiators, and competitive positioning.
Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and fundraising goals.
Collaborative mindset with experience working in a team-oriented sales environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent).
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $150,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
