Base salary will be in the range $102,565 - $111,686 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)

As the Principal Training and Communications Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in the MyTime@UQ Program through supporting the successful rollout of UQ’s new workforce management system.
You’ll work closely with the Program team to design and deliver high-quality training and communications for varying audiences from academics to professional employees, including specialist functions and senior leaders. Using your instructional design expertise and communication skills, you’ll help create training materials and resources with a focus on employee entitlements and system processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project that will drive compliance, efficiency, and a better employee experience across the entirety of UQ.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the design and development of engaging training materials and e-learning modules to support the rollout of the MyTime@UQ workforce management system.
Develop clear and accessible user guides, intranet content, project communications, and facilitator resources to ensure a consistent learning experience across all audiences.
Support the coordination and delivery of project communications, ensuring timely and effective information sharing with key stakeholders.
Apply instructional design best practices to create impactful, policy-aligned learning that drives engagement and understanding across the University.

Salary packaging options
Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in HR policy, learning and development, or system implementation projects.
Skilled in instructional design, with the ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials for diverse audiences.
Proficient in relevant software such as Articulate Rise or Storyline, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating complex information into clear, practical guidance.
A collaborative and proactive approach, with confidence working in fast-paced project environments.
A positive, solutions-focused mindset and genuine interest in supporting organisational change and capability uplift.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
