What You Will Do: 

Acts as a seasoned professional in the Human Resource Partner discipline who works independently to interpret and explain human resources policies, assist leadership in addressing issues related to performance and recognition, and coordinate with employees regarding intermediate/ complex employee relations issues. Assists Total Rewards and Talent Management staff, as needed.   

 

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS   

  • Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures plans and programs consistent with employment laws and regulations; confirms that employment laws and regulations are followed accordingly.   
  • Conducts HR-related investigations and outlines the applicable corrective actions that are mandated by HR policy.   
  • Coordinates with Employee and Labor Relations specialists to address routine to moderately complex employee relations issues and to help supervisors resolve similar issues.  
  • Coordinates with Talent Management specialists to help leadership address performance management, employee discipline, and employee recognition issues. 
  • Executes the termination process to ensure smooth employee separations. Participates in exit interviews and compiles data on the reasons behind employee resignation decisions. 
  • Addresses basic to moderately complex HR-related inquiries from all levels of employees in an assigned department or business unit. Refers employees, as needed, to the applicable HR specialist.   
  • Maintains, keeps up-to-date, and ensures the safekeeping of candidate and employee information in a variety of HR information systems, including paper and electronic records.
  • Reviews statistical reports and personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates; ensures the data is kept up-to-date.   
  • Provides recommendations on compensation actions to ensure the compensation strategy is implemented.   
  • Assists with the delivery of employee communications and training related to the following HR activities: interviewing, conducting performance appraisals, counseling employees, and documenting performance management issues.   
  • Assists with recruiting, selection, hiring, on-boarding, and orientation of new employees to ensure the timely   

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of professional experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with 3 years of professional experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
