The Pricing and Business Analysis Lead is a key strategic role within the Commercial Directorate of Industrial Markets, with the core mission of sustaining the business unit's profitable growth strategy.

This individual manages the customer portfolio concerning pricing, contracts, and commercial terms, acting as the analytical liaison between business results and corporate strategy, in collaboration with the sales force and the finance teams.

This role requires a strong capacity for both micro and macroeconomic analysis to ensure the alignment of KPIs with the market and relevant economic indicators.

This position is pivotal in decision-making, and as such, the person is responsible for maintaining control over business indicators and for questioning assumptions to keep the objectives on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure portfolio profitability and competitiveness through pricing management and contractual compliance.
  • Manage the customer portfolio regarding pricing and contracts.
  • Ensure pricing evolution aligns with the market and is linked to key economic indicators (inflation, energy/fuel, transportation costs).
  • Guarantee compliance with contractual terms for price revisions, ensuring clauses are standard and favorable to the business.
  • Indirectly influence commercial executives for the correct implementation of pricing actions.
  • Evaluate results, industry trends, and customer behavior to inform management's decision-making.
  • Be responsible for preparing management reports by analyzing key KPIs (sales, ratios, volume/price effects) and historical trends.
  • Analyze customer behavior, industry behavior, and their reflection on business results.
  • Be able to perform micro and macro-level analysis of business results.
  • Collaborate on closing and planning processes (targets) and manage sales force compensation.
  • Work closely with the finance teams on monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure the correct calculation and treatment of costs associated with the sale.
  • Participate in the preparation of business targets.
  • Prepare and issue sales force compensation calculations.
  • Prepare executive presentations for management.
  • Actively collaborate and execute group or regional projects to establish standardizations and/or improvements in processes or digital tools.
  • Seek efficiency in daily steps and processes,
  • Ideally through Group-approved tools linked with AI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, or Engineering (must be a graduate).
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Ability to analyze KPIs in detail and within a macro/micro context.
  • Deep understanding of the relationship between pricing, contracts, inflation, and key economic indicators.
  • Desirable knowledge of CRM/ERP systems for managing and extracting performance data.
  • Desirable knowledge or interest in the use of AI for process enhancement.
  • Ability to prepare and communicate complex information clearly and in an executive manner.
