The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. What you need to know

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience:

  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • The candidate should have the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, dosage form characterization technique, HPLC, UPLC-MS. 
  • Theoretical/practical experience with pharmaceuticals dosage forms, pharmaceutical manufacturing, characterization technique, pharmacokinetics. 

Essential Duties/Tasks:

Research

  • Works in the lab to manufacture and characterize the formulations.
  • Works on pharmacokinetic evaluation of the formulations.
  • Conducts data analysis and preliminary data collection and also provide support for establishing a workshop for inter-professional education
  • Compiles data files set from research teams.
  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes data, compiles results, prepares reports, and presents conclusions.

Administrative

  • Assists with planning, developing, coordinating, and administering research projects

  • Manage and overseas research equipment

  • Comply with all state and university policies
