Job Description
The Role:
The International Portfolio Planning team is seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping the international markets and influencing strategic decision making as it relates to Portfolio Planning. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the future product portfolio GM International Markets including China and Mexico. In this role you will work collaboratively across functions to develop data-driven recommendations and lead storytelling across various leadership levels. The ideal candidate should be a top performer who is comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced team environment, and has a passion for results.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead execution of studies, development of insights, concise framing of recommendations, and communication of findings.
 - Support development and facilitation of executive-level reviews.
 - Support global / regional portfolio planning for brand and new product initiatives, technology / monetization, electrification, and regulatory compliance.
 - Conduct analysis to support portfolio decisions using various data sources, including the portfolio planning database, long-term volume forecasts, competitor intelligence, product program financials, etc.
 - Identify portfolio gaps / opportunities, track horizon plan development for portfolio definition, and support pre-PFI activities for next-generation products.
 - Collaborate with other Planning areas (Advanced Planning, Forecasting, Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Propulsion, Technology) and cross-functional partners (Marketing, Finance, Program Management, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, etc.).
 - Provide segment-focused and competitive assessments to be used by various internal customers and stakeholders.
 - Focus on the customer needs / perceptions and design-thinking approach to problem-solving.
 - Support customer research efforts and help translate results into product change drivers.
 - Be top performers who are willing to work diligently in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.
 - Demonstrate an ability to make the complex simple, with clear and concise communication; comfortable presenting to varied levels of leadership.

Yours Skills & Abilities :
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
 - 5 Years functional experience in Forecasting, Market Analysis, Marketing, Planning, Research, Policy, and/or Finance.
 - Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint (advanced)
 - Strong written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
 - Demonstrates Analytical Thinking, End-to-End Process Management and Commercial Acumen skills.
 
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge:
- MBA preferred.
 - Experience Developing / Executing Global / Corporate Strategies
 - Experience Developing Business Plans
 - Experience Managing Business Financial and Legal Risk
 - Portfolio Management Experience

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company vehicle will only be provided for this role by passing the Motor Vehicle Report review.
